The Last Email...

This last week was good. We have been truly Blessed. I have been blessed to serve in one of the missions that our loving heavenly father has appeared. I know that He  loves us and wants the best for us. I cant wait to see y'all's keep up the good work!

Findlay Week 18

This last week was crazy! So let me see where it starts last week it rained most of the week and Thursday the River rose 17 feet...  it was crazy so most of the town was under water but it was good because it lead to service and as we all know that softens harts. Thursday, Friday and  Monday we went out with a teem and cleaned out basements. it was crazy but every thing is back to normal by today. for the most part. so yeah crazy week.

Monday night we where able to get some real missionary work in and found a new investigator. it was awesome! well have a good week.

Findlay Week 17

This last week was good! 

Yesterday Elder Dixon and I tracted from 10am -7:45 pm and it was long but just there after a lady let us in to teach her the restoration. it was really cool the lord has blessed us so much. We also met with a family that we are working with and committed them to be baptized on the 12 of august. it was really cool they are so awesome! well thank yalls so much for all you do!

This last week was awesome tons of rain. well its like that a lot but any way cool story. This last week we where out doing some finding. (big shock) and nobody was interested. anyways week kept going and what do you know the last door we knocked on a Lady let us in. the lord bless us so much in the little ways its so awesome! well have a killer week!

Findlay Week 15

Well this last week was good! we have been working doing super well like always! this last week we had a cool story. so Sunday we got to Church a few min early and the bishop came up to us and introduced us in to this guy. As we where talking to him he told us that he lived just down the street and he really wants to change his life... so we where just stoked that he just showed up at the church house. we taught him the restoration and so far he has read to 1 nephi 4 so yeah he is crozeing right along! we are going back to see him tonight for the second lesson! well have a good week!

Findlay Week 14

hello,

Well this week has been good. we have been doing well! so story time! so Elder Dixon and I where out tracting all week last week and day after day no one would lesson to us. Sunday came around and we where finally able to find some one that would let us in and teach them. it was so cool. and then just the other day the first door we knocked on a man let us in to teach him. he is Jewish.., and one of his kids is a member. he told us that we could come back so it was a really cool week!

Findlay Week 13

Hello,

This last week was awesome! so let me think of something cool. So we went tacting this last week and as we where tacting we came to a door and a man came out to talk with us. as we talked he told us that he has had a friend that got in a car wreck (a few weeks before) and lost her husband and 2 Kids. As we talked with him about the plan of salvation you could just feel the love that our heavenly father has for us! We are so lucky as members of this Church to have that with us! well have a good week!

Findlay Week 12

Hello,

This last week was awesome! Elder Dixon and I got a Phone call from Elder Lancaster (one of my past comps) and he told us that he had some good news! As he started to talk he had found this part member family and had been teach the kids. both of them are 10 years old. well any way they just moved in to our area!!! so Sunday we went to meet them and they are great! the lord really blesses us in many different ways! love yall and have a killer week!

Findlay Week 11

To whomever this may concern,

Well this last week  was awesome! so as you have found out by now typing is not my strong suit so I will just get strait to to point today. about a month ago we where doing some tracting and knocked on a door and the guy that came to the door told us that he was not interested (could have been a little nicer about it) so we kept going on and on and on.(big shock) So we Found a man that we have been teaching down this guys street. and This last week Elder Dixon and I where going down to our appointment that we had with him. we where running a little late so we was moving quite swiftly. The Fellow that was Not interested was out side doing some yard work as we where going by he looked at us and said "am I to far gone." We then walked over to him and taught the Restoration and how the restored gospel can pull us out of what ever rut we may find our self's in. so it was really cool! 

Well there you go a mission story! so don't think to your self that I "never'" send story's home! Love yalls and have a good week!

Findlay Week 10

Hello from Ohio,

Well this past week was great as normal. Cool story so this last week we went to do some tracting and we can accosted a blind man. we taught him the restoration and he told us that he has not been baptized because he has not found the true church. after our lesson he had a few questions but is really open to lesson to the book of Mormon.so that was really cool.

 

Yesterday we took the bishop out teaching with us. we have been trying to get him out with us for the past 6 weeks and we got him last night. we went to see our Investigator that is preparing for baptism and it was great! well thank you so much for all you do!

Findlay Week 9

Hello from Findlay,

Well this last week was good! we have been trying to find more people to teach but it has been a little hard to find because school is over. and the collage kids are all gone!  but never the less we still are finding people! So we have been working with a 14 year old boy that is preparing for baptism so that's always good! well I hope yalls have a good week! keep up the Faith as the old man would say!

Findlay Week 8

Hello, 

Well this week has been well! I have a new companion his name is Elder Dixon. he is from sandy Utah. so yeah! A lot has happened this past week we have done some finding and found some new people to teach so that's always good! Yesterday I went on an Exchange with Elder Hopkins (one of my past companions in Youngstown) and we where out doing some tracting. we knocked on a door and a guy came out and started to talk with us. and Guess what... He Lived in Youngstown a year ago. it was really cool. but yeah well keep up all the good work!

Findlay Week 7

Hello,

Well tomorrow is transfers. And Elder Peterson is leaving! I am kinda sad! he has been a good companion! but what do you do? so it will be good! Cool little story for this week so Sunday night Elder Peterson said that we need to go stop by a less active family and so we walked about 4 miles to the other side of the area ( Elder Peterson broke his bike) and they where not home. we where kinda bumbed but We though we are down here now we might as well do some tracting so that's what we did! the first door we knocked on a young mom let us teach her! its cool to see that the lord works in mysterious ways! well have a good week!

Findlay Week 6

Hello, 

This week has been great! we have been able to find some more people to teach which is always needed! we have been having a hard time retaining the people that we have been finding but what do you do? so yeah! 

This last week we went to the Temple! much need! and it was great! I love to feel of the spirit that comes when you are there! we have a Recent Convert that we have been working with to get to the temple and so we are hopeing that we will get to go back here in a few weeks with him. so all is well! hope you all have a killer week!

Findlay Week 5

This week was awesome! we found a lot of people to teach so that is awesome! so cool story this last Sunday Elder Peterson and I where out tracting. we knocked on a door and an older man came out and told us that he wants a bible so we gave him one and talked about the book of Mormon. he lite up as we where talking to him about it! it was really awesome! 

We also went to Kirtland with our recent convert Tyler. it was really cool! 

so this Email is short today because we are getting ready to head down to the temple in a little wile. In Youngstown I helped reactive Brother Thibadue and he will be receiving his Endowment to day so I am supper Excited for the chance I have to go and be there! love yall much!

Findlay Week 4

Hello, 

This week has been killer! we have had tons of fun! so last week we went on exchange with the Zone Leaders. that was fun we learned a lot. cool little story  so sunday we was out tracting and we came apon a house shocker I would bet that yalls are like really a house wile tracting. but yes we did any way we knocked on the door and a lady came out and said that we could come back on monday so we did just that! she meet with missionaries in Arizona but never read the Book of Mormon. it was really cool. 

We also meet with a member and his dad is not a member but he drives a sweet car! he let us take pics with it! it was cool but keep up the good work!

Findlay Week 3

This week was Great! We had Conference and all man it was awesome! Well let me rack my old head of my to see what in the world happened this week. So last week the week pick up on Thursday we where able to find some more people to teach which is always needed! we meet with a few of our Investigators. No one really solid with a baptism date yet but there is a lot of time left in the week!

Funny story so yesterday we where out tracting a street and we get to this door and we see this lady in side in the back of her house. and I looked at Elder Peterson and said she is going to become a new investiagtor. Elder Peterson looked at me with a look of Right we will see about that! so we knocked on the door and she came out on her potrch and we taught her the Restoration and we will be seeing her again later in the week. Though our Faith great things come to pass! have a good week!

Findlay Week 1-2

Hello,

Well last week I did not have a preparation day because I was being transferred. I am now serving in Findlay Ohio. its in the middle of nowhere. My new companion is Elder Peterson. he is from Oregon. he is great. So Findlay is a nice little city. there are maybe 70-80 active members. Its going to be a great area! 

Cool story. so Elder Lancaster is in Ashland  and just called me and told us that a part member family that he has been working with is moving to our area in 4 weeks. so thats really cool the two 9 year old kids are on tract to be baptized. the lord works in cool ways. well I love yall tons!
